for a history of orem, there's a couple of books out already - It Happened in Orem, From Sagebrush to Steel, and A Most Eligible Place, those were the books we used most often for reference. The project I was working under was for Arcadia Publishing's Images of America Series and it will be published later this fall after which, you should be able to find it in the Travel section at any Border's in Utah Valley.
