What I meant to say in Sunday School

Doctrine and Covenants 93:1
Verily, thus saith the Lord: It shall come to pass that every soul who forsaketh his sins and cometh unto me, and calleth on my name, and obeyeth my voice, and keepeth my commandments, shall see my face and know that I am...

When you choose to follow God's commandments, and recognize the specific blessings associated with doing so, you understand that The Father, The Word, I Am--are. If He were not, than there would not be the perfect order that exists, and is exhibited in the simple patterns that follow gospel living. I read my scriptures--I feel peace. I pray daily--I feel confidence. I pay my tithing--I need not worry about money.

The consistency of the consequences that result from my personal choices are proof enough, for me, that there is a larger plan of which I am a part.

Hey Dad (or anyone as smart as he)! If The Word was with God in the beginning. Is The Word referring to Jesus Christ? Someday I'll get this down.

"Wherefore, keep my commandments for they are true and faithful." What does that mean? A commandment is faithful?

Pick one. (hint: probably not 1, 2 or 3)

1 obsolete : full of faith
2 : steadfast in affection or allegiance : loyal
3 : firm in adherence to promises or in observance of duty : conscientious
4 : given with strong assurance : binding (a faithful promise)
5 : true to the facts, to a standard, or to an original (a faithful copy)

I don't understand this sentence. i think I'm missing something.
"When you choose to follow God's commandments, and recognize the specific blessings associated with doing so, you understand that The Father, The Word, I Am--are."

You understand that The Father/The Word/I am are--what? What is He?

They are. They exist.

I know it's not really English. I'm a fan of not speaking English with the English alphabet.
