Detention

I gave a couple students detention for drawing inappropriate pictures in class. When they didn't show, I told them they had to come clean my classroom for two days after school to make up for it. Oh, they came. And on the first day they stayed three times as long as they had too, and the second day, and the third day they came begging for more. I think I'm on to something. These kids don't need to sit silently--they need good hard labor, and someone to listen to them.
