I think I'll like it

I left home in a cab-full of nervous anticipation and personal belongings. I'm staying somewhere lovely--with family--for a week or so. Then I move into the room I'm renting.

So, I'm a professional woman now. I tried to write a story about this--about me, and career conflicts that arise from the nature of my being an LDS woman, for a class I took at the Y. I never finished it. But, it's strange to see the story fulfill itself-- Like I was a predicting the future; like I was Paul Simon and You Can Call Me Al. Except, my life isn't a presidential scandal, it's just something unexpected. I think I'll like it. And then, I think I'll be good at it.
