Rock Band Drummer and First Baseman

"Jordan's really awesome at playing first basemen."
"Yeah!"
"Did you see her last night?"
"Sure did."

I thought they were mocking me. So, I rolled my eyes and said something friendly-sarcastic about making Travis cry by preventing him from ever actually making it to first base.

Later in the evening, Courtlin reported to my parents, "We played ball. Jordan's really good at covering first base."

"Wait--Really?" I asked.

She looked up from the phone, "Yes."
